Boketto is the idea of looking into the distance without specific intentions. It is a state of passive observation that lets one let go of their constantly moving life in favor of just watching the world move around them. At times, it might seem impossible to stop maximizing every minute in an effort to use every last drop of productivity. That is why boketto is so essential. The photos in this book incorporate cinematic compositions which focus on how every photo leads to the next rather than fixating on each individual photo. This allows the book as a whole to be treated like a story rather than a collection of photos.
